A map-first dashboard gave a Government of India power-sector programme a clear, presentation-ready view of streetlight installation progress across every state.
Installation data existed across reports and spreadsheets, but programme leadership had no single view that could explain progress quickly.
The solution was needed on a rapid timeline and routine updates could not depend on developers or a complex new data-integration programme.
We designed an interactive home view around a clickable map of India. Users can move from national progress to individual state figures without navigating dense reports.
A deliberately simple CSV upload pipeline matched the programme’s existing reporting process. Teams could update the dashboard themselves without changing field collection or waiting for technical support.
